How do I set up my profile?
After registration, go to your Profile Settings and upload a profile picture, add a professional bio, select your skills, and verify your identity (KYC). A complete profile increases your chances of getting hired or trusted by Buyers.
What information should I include in my profile?
Include accurate details such as your skills, experience, country, and languages spoken. A friendly profile photo, a clear description of your expertise, and verified KYC status will make you stand out.

How many accounts can I have?

Each person is allowed only one JobbersGigs account. Operating multiple accounts may result in suspension or permanent ban. A single account is designed to function as both Buyer and Worker.
What is KYC verification and what does the blue tick mean?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is our verification process where users submit valid identification. Once approved, your profile will display a blue verification badge. This badge signals trust, improves your visibility, and unlocks higher earning and withdrawal limits.
What happens if my account is suspended?
Suspensions usually occur due to violations, suspicious activity, or incomplete KYC. If your account is suspended, contact our Support Team or email us at support@jobbersgigs.com. In many cases, providing additional documentation or clarifications can restore your access.

How do I enable two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Go to Account > Security and enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, then confirm with the generated code. Save your backup codes safely in case you lose your device.
What should I do if my account is compromised?
Immediately reset your password, revoke all active sessions under Security, and contact Support. For safety, withdrawals may be temporarily locked while we verify ownership.
Can I update my KYC documents after verification?
Yes. If your name, address, or ID changes, upload updated documents in Verification. Your blue tick remains active while our team reviews the update.
How does JobbersGigs protect my data?
We use end-to-end encryption, hashed passwords, and secure payment gateways. JobbersGigs never stores full card details and complies with PCI-DSS standards for payment security.

What is JobbersGigs?

JobbersGigs is a professional freelance marketplace where Buyers post jobs or order services and Workers complete them. All payments are secured in escrow until the Buyer approves delivery, ensuring fairness and transparency for both sides.
How is JobbersGigs different from Fiverr or SproutGigs?
Unlike traditional platforms, JobbersGigs offers both micro-jobs and full freelance services in one place. We integrate wallet-based escrow, KYC verification badges, and a streamlined dispute system to create a safer, faster, and more reliable experience.
Who can join JobbersGigs?
Anyone 18 years or older can join JobbersGigs. You can operate as both a Buyer and a Worker using the same account — no need for separate registrations.

How do I choose the right Worker?
Review the Worker’s profile, KYC badge, ratings, completed orders, and portfolio samples. Check delivery times and read recent reviews. Verified and highly rated Workers are usually the most reliable choice.
How do I know my money is safe?
All Buyer payments go into escrow. Funds are only released when you approve the work. If there’s a dispute, our resolution team ensures fairness. This means your money is never directly sent to the Worker before delivery.
What should I include in my Job or Service order?
Provide clear instructions, deadlines, and examples if possible. The more details you give, the better the Worker can meet your expectations. Ambiguity often leads to delays or revisions.
Can I cancel an order if I’m not satisfied?
Yes. If the work does not match the requirements, you may request revisions or open a dispute. Our team will review the situation and may issue a partial or full refund depending on the evidence.
Are there tips for budgeting effectively?
• Start small with test orders before committing to larger projects.
• Compare multiple Workers to balance price and quality.
• Consider long-term partnerships with Workers to negotiate better rates.
• Always factor in the 10% platform fee when setting budgets.
Can I communicate with Workers before ordering?
Yes. You can message Workers directly on the platform before placing an order. However, for safety, sharing external contact details (email, WhatsApp, phone) before an order is placed is not allowed.

How do I get my first order on JobbersGigs?
Optimize your profile with a clear photo, bio, and verified KYC. Create Services with competitive pricing, keyword-rich titles, and attractive visuals. Promote your Service link on social media to attract initial Buyers.
How should I price my Services?
Start with competitive, fair pricing to attract Buyers. As you gain reviews and level up, you can increase your rates. Offering tiered packages (Basic, Standard, Premium) also helps Buyers choose based on their budget.
What can I do to get more Jobs?
• Apply quickly to new Jobs posted in your category.
• Maintain a high response rate to messages.
• Keep your profile and Services updated with recent work.
• Deliver quality work on time to build strong ratings.
• Consider using Featured placements to boost visibility.
How do I handle revision requests?
Revisions are normal. Communicate clearly, review the Buyer’s feedback, and make updates promptly. If the request is outside the original scope, you may politely offer a paid add-on or new order.
What happens if a Buyer is unresponsive after delivery?
If a Buyer does not respond within the set approval window, the order is automatically marked as complete and funds are released from escrow to your wallet.
How can I maintain a high rating?
• Deliver quality work before deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.
• Manage Buyer expectations honestly.
• Avoid cancellations unless absolutely necessary.
• Be proactive — offer suggestions and solutions to Buyers.
Can I refuse an order?
Yes. If the order request is unclear, unreasonable, or violates platform policies, you may decline. However, frequent rejections may affect visibility, so communicate professionally with Buyers when declining.

What is the difference between Jobs and Services?

Jobs are quick micro-tasks posted by Buyers, such as app testing, social follows, or simple online actions. Services are larger, customized freelance offers — like graphic design, writing, or development — where Buyers place an order and funds are secured in escrow until delivery is approved.
How do I post a Job?
To post a Job, log in as a Buyer, navigate to the Create Job section, choose a category and budget, and provide clear instructions. Workers will complete your Job and submit proofs for review before you approve payment.
How does escrow work for Services?
When a Buyer orders a Service, the agreed amount is automatically held in escrow. Funds remain secure until the Worker delivers and the Buyer approves. This protects both parties — Buyers only release payment when satisfied, and Workers are guaranteed payment once work is accepted.

What makes a good Service listing?
A professional Service should include a clear title, detailed description, competitive pricing, delivery time, and relevant images or samples. Verified Workers with complete profiles attract more Buyers.
Are there restricted Services?
Yes. Services involving illegal, fraudulent, adult, or harmful content are strictly prohibited. Listings that violate platform rules may be removed and accounts suspended.
Can I offer multiple Services at once?
Yes. Workers can create multiple Services across different categories, as long as each Service meets our quality guidelines and does not duplicate identical offers.

What jobs are not allowed on JobbersGigs?
Jobs involving fake engagement (spam likes, fake reviews), scams, adult content, or illegal activity are prohibited. Violating job posts may be removed without notice.
How can I attract more Workers to my Job?
Write clear instructions, offer fair pay, and choose the correct category. Verified Buyers with a good track record usually receive faster responses from Workers.
Can I edit a Job after posting?
Yes. You can edit Job details like budget, description, or instructions until Workers start submitting proofs. After submissions begin, only limited edits may be allowed.

Orders & Delivery

How do I place an order?
To place an order, browse available Services, choose the one that fits your needs, and click Order Now. Your payment will be securely held in escrow until the Worker delivers the project.
What happens after I order a Service?
Once you order a Service, the Worker is notified immediately. They will begin work according to the agreed requirements and timeline. You can communicate through the built-in chat system to track progress.
How do I mark an order as complete?
After the Worker delivers the Service, review the submitted work. If you are satisfied, click Mark as Complete to release the funds from escrow to the Worker. If there are issues, you may request a revision or open a dispute.

Wallet & Escrow

How does the JobbersGigs wallet work?
Your JobbersGigs wallet is a secure digital balance where you receive earnings from completed jobs and services. You can also use it to pay for jobs or services directly. All transactions are logged transparently in your wallet history.
Can I top up my wallet directly?
Yes. You can add funds to your wallet using supported payment methods such as Paystack, PayPal, Payoneer, or bank transfer. Topping up your wallet allows faster job postings and smoother transactions.
What is escrow and why is it important?
Escrow is a secure holding system that protects both Buyers and Workers. When a Buyer orders a Service, payment is locked in escrow until the Worker delivers and the Buyer approves. This guarantees fairness — Workers know they will be paid, and Buyers know funds are only released for approved work.

Payments & Withdrawals

What payment methods are supported?
JobbersGigs supports multiple gateways depending on your region. Common options include Paystack, PayPal, Payoneer, local bank transfers, and selected cryptocurrencies. Availability may vary by country.
How often are payments processed?
Withdrawals are processed on a bi-weekly schedule (every 2 weeks). This ensures stable payouts, proper fraud checks, and smooth financial processing for all users.
What fees are charged on withdrawals?
A 10% withdrawal fee applies to every payout. This fee covers platform operations, escrow handling, fraud monitoring, and 24/7 customer support.
What is the minimum withdrawal amount?
The minimum withdrawal depends on your method: • $10 for PayPal • $5 for crypto • $20 for bank transfers

Cancellations & Refunds

Can I cancel a Job or Service order?
Yes. Buyers can request cancellation before delivery is approved. For Jobs (micro-tasks), cancellation is possible if proofs are invalid or the task was not performed. For Service orders, cancellation requests are reviewed based on scope, communication, and delivery status.
How do refunds work?
If a cancellation is approved, funds return to the Buyer’s JobbersGigs wallet or the original payment method where applicable. Service payments held in escrow are released back to the Buyer if work was not delivered as agreed; otherwise, they are released to the Worker.
How long do refunds take?
Wallet refunds are typically instant once approved. Refunds to external payment methods may take 3–7 business days, depending on your bank or gateway processing times.
What if the Buyer and Worker disagree?
Either party can open a dispute. Our team reviews evidence, chat history, and delivery files to make a fair decision. Outcomes may include full refund, partial refund, or release of funds to the Worker.
Are cancellation fees charged?
JobbersGigs does not charge separate cancellation fees; however, gateway fees (if any) may be non-refundable per the payment provider’s policy.
When are approved refunds paid out?
Approved refunds to the wallet are immediate after resolution. If a payout to a Worker is due after a dispute, it is included in the regular bi-weekly payout cycle.

Earnings & Taxes

How can I track my earnings?
You can track your earnings in real time under the Wallet section of your dashboard. Each completed Job or Service order is recorded with the transaction ID, date, and status.
Do I need to pay taxes on my earnings?
Yes. Freelancers are responsible for declaring income and paying applicable taxes in their country of residence. JobbersGigs does not deduct income tax but provides clear transaction records to help you file accurately.
Will JobbersGigs provide invoices or receipts?
Yes. Every Job and Service order generates a receipt available in your account history. You can download invoices for record-keeping or tax purposes.

Ratings & Reviews

How are ratings calculated?
Ratings are based on Buyer feedback after a completed Job or Service. The average score from all reviews determines a Worker’s rating, which influences visibility and trust.
Can I edit a review after posting it?
Reviews cannot be edited once published to preserve fairness. However, you may contact support if you made a mistake or if a review violates our policies.
What happens if I get a bad review?
Negative reviews impact your overall rating but also provide an opportunity to improve. You can politely respond to reviews for transparency. Repeated poor reviews may affect your account level or visibility.

How does JobbersGigs search ranking work?
Search results are ranked using a mix of relevance, category match, keywords, quality score, ratings, completion rate, and activity. Verified and active users generally perform better in rankings.
Do keywords in titles and descriptions matter?
Yes. Clear, keyword-rich titles and descriptions improve your visibility in searches. Use natural language that Buyers would type when looking for your Service or Job.
How often are search results updated?
Search results update dynamically in near real-time, but featured, new, and trending listings may be prioritized for freshness. Quality and relevance metrics are recalculated frequently.
Do featured listings always appear first?
Featured listings appear in special highlighted areas (carousels, banners, or pinned slots) but organic ranking still applies. Even non-featured listings can rank highly if optimized.
What can I do to improve my ranking for free?
• Write clear, keyword-friendly titles and descriptions.
• Upload high-quality thumbnails and samples.
• Maintain quick response times and on-time delivery.
• Collect positive ratings and reviews.
• Keep your profile complete and KYC-verified.
• Stay active — updated and recently engaged accounts rank better.
Are there penalties for poor performance?
Yes. Accounts with repeated late deliveries, cancellations, poor ratings, or policy violations may rank lower in search. This ensures Buyers see high-quality, reliable results first.

What are Featured Services and Featured Jobs?
Featured placements are paid promotional slots that boost visibility. Featured Services highlight a Worker’s service to Buyers, while Featured Jobs highlight a Buyer’s job to Workers. They appear in dedicated carousels and premium spots across the site with a “Featured” label.
Where do featured listings appear?
Featured items can appear on the homepage carousels, relevant category pages, and at the top of search results (clearly marked as Featured). Exact placement may rotate to ensure fairness and relevance.
How do I feature my Service or Job?
Open your Service or Job in the dashboard and choose Promote / Feature. Select a duration and confirm payment. Once approved, your listing will enter the featured rotation automatically.
How long does the feature last?
You can select from multiple durations (e.g., 3, 7, or 14 days) during checkout. The timer starts after activation and runs continuously for the chosen period.
How much does featuring cost?
Pricing is shown at checkout and may vary by category, duration, and demand. Taxes or gateway fees (if applicable) are displayed before you pay.
Does featuring guarantee orders or applications?
No. Featuring increases visibility and clicks, but results depend on your title, pricing, visuals, ratings, and market demand. Optimize your listing to maximize conversions.
How is rotation handled among multiple featured listings?
The carousel and premium spots auto-rotate featured listings. Rotation considers category relevance, freshness, and user engagement to keep exposure fair while prioritizing user experience.
Are there eligibility rules for featuring?
Yes. Listings must comply with marketplace policies, avoid prohibited content, and maintain acceptable quality and ratings. KYC verification may be required for promotional placement.
Can I pause, extend, or refund a feature?
Features are generally non-refundable once activated. Extensions can be purchased anytime. Pausing isn’t guaranteed; if required due to platform maintenance, we’ll communicate compensation options per the promotion terms.
What best practices improve featured performance?
Use a sharp thumbnail, clear title, concise benefits in the first 120 characters, competitive pricing, strong samples, and fast response times. Maintain high ratings and complete KYC to build trust.

Can I promote my Services outside JobbersGigs?
Yes. You may share your Service or JobbersGigs profile link on social media, blogs, forums, or through email. External promotion is encouraged as long as it links back to JobbersGigs and does not involve prohibited channels (spam, fake traffic, or misrepresentation).
What are the best free ways to grow my orders?
• Share your Service link on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and niche groups.
• Create sample portfolios on platforms like Behance or Dribbble linking back to JobbersGigs.
• Optimize your Service with trending keywords for SEO.

Does JobbersGigs provide tools for growth?

Can I run paid ads to promote my Service?
Absolutely. You may run ads on Google, Facebook, TikTok, or other platforms, pointing directly to your Service or JobbersGigs profile. Just ensure your ad creatives comply with JobbersGigs’ terms and the policies of the ad platform.
How can I build long-term growth on JobbersGigs?
• Deliver high-quality work consistently.
• Build repeat clients by offering discounts for long-term Buyers.
• Upsell premium packages inside your Services.
• Request reviews politely after successful delivery.

Levels, Badges & Rewards

How do I level up as a Worker?
Workers earn experience points (XP) through completed jobs, service orders, and positive ratings. Higher levels unlock more visibility, larger order limits, and exclusive opportunities. Consistent quality delivery is the fastest way to level up.
What do verification badges mean?
A blue tick badge indicates KYC-verified users who have confirmed their identity. Other badges such as Pro or Elite represent milestones based on completed orders, earnings, and experience. These badges build trust and credibility in the marketplace.
Do Buyers have levels too?
Yes. Buyers earn levels (Starter, Pro, Legend) based on their total spending and successful completed orders. Higher-level Buyers enjoy faster approvals, higher order limits, and priority support.

Referrals

How do referrals work?
Share your unique referral link with others. When they sign up and start completing jobs or services, you earn a commission that is automatically added to your wallet.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No, there’s no limit. You can invite as many people as you want. The more active referrals you bring, the higher your referral income.
When are referral commissions paid?
Referral commissions are added to your earnings and paid out in the regular bi-weekly payout cycle.

Trust, Safety & Disputes

What happens if I get scammed?
If you encounter suspicious or fraudulent activity, immediately report it to our support team. Funds in escrow remain protected, and after review, JobbersGigs may issue a refund to the Buyer or release payment to the Worker based on the evidence.
How do disputes work?
Either Buyer or Worker can open a dispute for a Service order. Our dispute resolution team carefully reviews submitted proofs, communication logs, and delivery status. A fair decision is then made, ensuring both sides are treated transparently.
What are the rules against spam or fraud?
Spam, fake submissions, misleading job posts, and fraudulent activity are strictly prohibited. Offenders may face permanent suspension. JobbersGigs actively monitors transactions and user behavior to maintain a safe, trustworthy marketplace.

Policies & Compliance

What activities are prohibited on JobbersGigs?
Prohibited activities include spam, fraudulent submissions, misleading job posts, payment manipulation, and sharing fake proofs. Accounts involved in these violations may be permanently banned.
Can I share contact details outside the platform?
For safety reasons, exchanging direct contact details (email, phone, WhatsApp, etc.) outside JobbersGigs is not allowed until an order is completed. This protects both Buyers and Workers from scams.
What happens if I violate the Terms of Service?

Yes. Go to Account Settings and request deletion. Make sure your balance is withdrawn before closing the account, as remaining funds cannot be recovered once deleted.

Is JobbersGigs GDPR compliant?
Yes. JobbersGigs follows GDPR and international data protection standards. You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or request permanent deletion of your account at any time.
Who owns the rights to completed work?
By default, Buyers own the rights to completed work once full payment is released from escrow, unless otherwise stated in the Service description. Workers must ensure they deliver only original or properly licensed content.
How is copyright handled?
Workers must not deliver plagiarized, stolen, or unlicensed materials. Buyers are granted commercial rights upon payment unless the Worker specifies limitations. Violations may lead to account suspension or legal action.
Does JobbersGigs share my personal data?
No. Personal data is never sold to third parties. Limited data may be shared with payment processors, KYC providers, or regulators strictly for compliance and fraud prevention.
How long is my data stored?
Transaction and identity data are retained as required by law (typically 5–7 years for financial compliance). You may request deletion of non-essential data at any time.
What happens if I break copyright laws using JobbersGigs?
Delivering or requesting infringing content is strictly prohibited. Accounts may be suspended, funds frozen, and — if necessary — legal authorities may be contacted.

Yes. JobbersGigs is fully mobile-responsive and works on iOS and Android browsers. You can also add it to your home screen for quick access.
How do I manage notifications?
Go to Account > Notifications to enable or disable alerts for orders, chats, disputes, and payouts. You can mute specific chats individually as well.
Can I use the same account on multiple devices?
Yes. You can log in from multiple devices. For security, new devices may require email or 2FA verification. Manage and revoke active sessions from Security.

Does JobbersGigs have a chat system?
Yes. JobbersGigs includes a built-in chat system for Buyers and Workers. You can discuss project requirements, send attachments, and request clarifications securely without leaving the platform.
What is the dashboard for?
The dashboard is your central hub. It shows your balance, active jobs, service orders, disputes, notifications, and analytics. Both Buyers and Workers have tailored dashboards to manage their activities efficiently.
Does JobbersGigs provide analytics for Workers?
Yes. Workers can track impressions, clicks, conversion rates, earnings, and order history. Analytics help you measure performance and adjust your Services for better results.
Can I save favorite Services or Jobs?
Yes. Use the Save or Favorite button to bookmark Services or Jobs. This makes it easier to revisit them later without searching again.
Are there notifications for activity updates?
Yes. You’ll receive notifications for new messages, job applications, order updates, dispute changes, and payouts. Notifications can be managed from Account > Notifications.
Does JobbersGigs support file sharing?
Yes. Buyers and Workers can share files directly through chat or order pages. File size and type restrictions may apply to ensure security and performance.
Are there tools for dispute resolution?
Yes. A dedicated dispute center lets Buyers and Workers submit evidence, chat with mediators, and track the progress of their case. The system ensures fairness and transparency.

What currencies are supported?
Earnings are stored in USD for consistency. However, withdrawals can be processed in local currencies depending on the method (Paystack, Payoneer, bank transfer, or crypto).
Can I withdraw from any country?
Yes. Withdrawals are available worldwide. Availability depends on your chosen payment gateway — e.g., Payoneer and crypto work globally, while Paystack and local bank transfers are regional.
How do exchange rates work?
Exchange rates are determined by the payment provider at the time of withdrawal. JobbersGigs does not add hidden conversion fees beyond standard gateway rates.

I can’t log in to my account. What should I do?
First, check that your email and password are correct. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password option to reset it. If the problem continues, clear your browser cache or try a different device. Contact Support if access is still blocked.
Why am I not receiving verification or notification emails?
Check your spam or promotions folder. Add noreply@jobbersgigs.com to your safe senders list. If emails still don’t arrive, update your email address in Account Settings and try again.
What should I do if my payment fails?
Payment failures may be due to insufficient funds, bank restrictions, or gateway errors. Try another payment method, ensure your card or account is active, or contact your bank. If issues persist, reach out to our support team with the transaction ID.

Why can’t I upload files or images?
File uploads may fail if the file type or size is not supported. Ensure your file is within the platform’s limits (e.g., under 25MB and in supported formats such as JPG, PNG, PDF, or ZIP). If issues continue, try compressing the file or uploading via another device.

Report the bug using the Support Tickets system and include screenshots or error messages. Our technical team will investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
